Today I'm sharing 3 wonderful Black and White Vintage Stock Images. Shown above are some Old Engravings of a Bird's Egg, a Nest and a Bird on a Branch (Thrush). These lovely Graphics come from an Early Natural History Book from my Collection. Some wonderful pictures to use in your Collage or Mixed Media Projects and so nice for Spring DIY Projects too! Also, these are really fun to color in!

    thanks so much for all the stupendous graphics, love your site so much! I read somewhere on here that you respond to requests through the Thusday post rather than email. So here goes, I recently acquired a wood vintage shoe shine box, and was wondering if you had any vintage shoeshine ads, or better yet shoeshine product labels handy? Did the search, and cuouldn't find any posted. I plan on fabbing the box out and a few graphics would be the icing on the cake. I'll post the finished product on my blog, and linky credit you back for sure!

    1. Hi Brenda, I don't think I have anything like that. I'll try to keep my eye out though, my father in law was a shoeshine boy when he was a kid, he would love that too!

      This is to answer Brenda & help you with that shoeshine graphic. I have a great Victorian era antique shoe ad that I purchased from Antique Graphique on Etsy a last year. It has a round label & says "Jacquot & Co. Genuine French Blacking" Everybody uses it. Every Dealer Sells It...The Best in the Market". It's very vintage & has illustrations of a man's boot & a woman's Victorian style boot. I have link but didn't know if was ok to post it here so I will await your reply. Hope this is helpful. Thank you for sharing your amazing finds!
