This is the cover to an
Antique Nursery or Seed
Catalog! Shown is a gorgeous
Flowering Bulb called a
Cannas. This particular color is called
Flamingo, and there is even a Flamingo Bird in the background! I've created an
Instant Art Print so that you can print it out and frame it up!
***Gorgeous!!!*** I love vintage flowers, and I love red... ::sighs contentedly::
ReplyDeleteThank you Karen - these stunning - I have orange Canna's in the garden but no red :-).

ReplyDeleteDear Karen,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this. I so much miss the cannas that grow in Washington, DC. They were one of my favorite things about living there. I loved seeing how tall they would grow and how bright their blossoms would be! My favorite was a variety called "Wyoming" with a flame-colored blossom and dark purple foliage! I loved the irony of their name because I grew up in Wyoming and I promise you there is nothing so exotic growing there!!
