This is a lovely little Scrap or Clipping. This one features a pretty Asian Woman with Pink Pompoms in her hair! I like the Bamboo frame too, this would make a cute Sticker!
I just visited your site via Miss Mustard Seed, and oh so sorry I did. First thing I'm hit with is an add for Obama! Should not politicize on blogs such as these. Left a very bad taste in the mouth of a super conservative who thinks "The One" has ruined our country.
I'm so sorry that you saw an ad that offended you! Unfortunately, because we are in an election year, these ads are going to come through from time to time. If you can tell me which part of my blog you saw the ad on, I can see if I can have it removed. I can assure you I did not sign up for any political ads and, because I am not particularly interested in politics, I don't get shown these ads. The more interested you are in a topic the more the ads on that topic will be shown to you, on any subject, as they are geared towards your interests. Because I like home decor, I see mostly Pottery Barn ads etc. I hope that makes sense. This isn't just with my site, but any site that you go to. If you go to the bottom of my page and click on "Privacy Policy" there is a better more technological explanation of how all of this works. Again I apologize, I am so sorry you were offended!
Karen, you are an angel and as all the angels you are probably not perfect but we need you ... We are so happy to read your blog lerning us so many precius things. We love you even in France, and especially France !!! (sorry for my english but it's written with my heart !)
This Asian woman is just beautiful!.. To Anonymous' 'Super Conservative's comment of 6/03/12 concerning the Obama Ad. How could you be sorry you visited Karen's wonderful site?. Are you really that narrow-minded? You made sure you got your own ill-informed political opinion in your comment, which I found very distatsteful also, so keep your political opinion to yourself or you are guilty of doing the same thing you object to.
I agree with anonymous at June 3, 2012 4:25 PM in regards to the other "Anonymous" 'Super Conservative's comment of 6/03/12 concerning the Obama Ad. In my opinion visiting someones site is like entering their home and that experience may entail that you come across beliefs, customs and habits that are quite different from your own. Your only option on how to deal with this fact is with grace . You state that the experience left "a very bad taste in your mouth" but your comment here is in very bade taste when Karen is a person who brightens every-ones day with her gracious friendliness, warm heart, generous spirit and inspirational creativity !I can't thank her enough ! (warm regards from Australia, Cassandra ...a faraway friend)
To Cassandra in Australia, Thank you for your eloquently stated agreement with my post of 6/3/ at 4:25 p.m.from Anonymous/Sherry. Karen provides such a wonderful service for people all over the world I can't even imagine anyone writing a discouraging word on her site. Political ads are going to bombard us all in the U.S. in the coming months in every media form available and there's nothing we can do about it. Is this person going to quit watching TV because there is an ad on about a candidate she doesn't agree with? or a Billboard she doesn't agree with? I Think Not. If she thinks that she is sorry she visited this site because of seeing an Obama ad, then I'm sorry she visited this site also with her ugliness and soiled the beauty and happiness that resides here because of Karen's efforts. Karen did a beautiful job of 'needlessly' apologizing to someone who just needs to get over her "Super Conservative" self and learn when some things are better left unsaid. To Karen & Cassandra & anyone else who agrees with me. Warm Regards from Florida, Sherry
OH boy some very ruffled feathers. I cannot imagine how anybody could possibly have any bad feelings towards Karen. She is such a hardworking angel. We all benefit from her constant generosity. I don't appreciate it when I go to watch an address from our President to see and hear John Boehner making nasty untruthful comments about Obama. I don't know why the poor man would want to be our President again with all he's had to put up with all this time. Why is that necessary? I won't stop watching to learn but I sure would like to slap Boehner's face. Sorry but he really ticks me off. It's not first time he's been disrespectful to our President. No matter who he is, he's our president and was duly elected. What a terrible example to the children of the U.S.
Oh my! Thanks to those of you that left comments defending me. I truly had thought that I had blocked all political ads of any kind so, as not to offend anyone, but it looks like I missed one of the networks. I've checked in with my ad network and it appeared as though everything was blocked once and for all, only just now I can see political ads on all 3 units, so I'm not sure what more can be done. Just like Sherry said in her comment above, we will all be bombarded for the rest of the year, I hope we can just ignore the ones that we don't care for, and not take it personally. I'm afraid I have very limited control over these things.
karen Beautiful site... But to that Anonymous who posted June 3, 2012 @ 9:PM. President Obama ruined the country and it put a bad taste in her mouth? Maybe she/he need to brush they're teeth. Such a comment to be a grown person. ha'ha' ha, thats what I'm saying Peace. Naomi
