This is the
3rd Botanical Print in a
set of 8 that I am currently sharing each week! Shown on this one is a
Flowering Branch known as
Bird Cherry. It has pretty
White Flowers and dark
Berries. You can find the
second one in this series
HERE. These date to the
1880's. So nice to frame all together!
Thank you for all beautiful graphics:o)

I look forward every day to your beautiful prints. I have used many & will continue to do so in the future.
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, I dont know if you know about wikimedia, but they have TONS of beautiful botanical images there. I dont know if they are free to use though. I think so, because they are just like the ones you post. (Thank you by the way, they are so pretty).Cheers, d.
ReplyDeleteThese are so gorgeous Karen, Thank you so much. One of my ideas to use these images was to put them in an old window's panes. Would be so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWhen we lived in KY I had been lucky enough to find a 3'sq. window with 12 panes. I had printed out some botanical prints out of an old book to put in all the panes. Since the window was so heavy I had my husband make a supportive frame to hang it on. When we left we had to leave the window and it killed me. Ah well, would have been so nice to have it. It's quite a feature in a room. We had a fairly large living room in that house so it looked great. At Christmas time I'd put holiday pics in the panes, hang a garland from it.
