This is a cute
Old Photo Postcard showing a
Darling Child all dressed up! At first I thought maybe this was a riding outfit, but the hat looks to be a
Bowler, so I think it may be a little boy (or maybe girl?) just dressed up in a fun outfit! I love the
French Stamp on the front of this one!
And speaking of cute kids ... check out this fun
project that
Meg Duerksen did with her kids! You can read about
on my Craft Blog and

Aww, precious old photograph! Old ones are truly awesome and a treasure!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you had a craft blog - I am now following it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the follow Sharon!
DeleteKaren, thank you SO much for all the work you put into your website. You are an encyclopedia of images! Do you ever have workshops on how to "capture" images?
ReplyDeleteAll your hard work is NOT going unnoticed. I can't wait to open my mail when I see it's from you.
God Bless, Peggy
Thank you so much for your kind words Peggy! Hmm workshops? No, I don't do anything like that. haha! I'm just always out looking and buying things. It helps that my friends are all antique dealers too. We go on fun buying trips, I get all the good paper stuff, and they get the rest!
DeleteCute little guy/girl in the photo!!!! Looks like a "doll!" :)
ReplyDeleteYour kids do an EXCELLENT JOB at commercials!!!!! :)
Ooh - I usually love old postcards, but - please tell me I'm not the only one who finds this one creepy. Reminds me of Damien from The Exorcist.
ReplyDeleteOh that's funny! Maybe you can use him for a Halloween project!
DeleteI like this!
ReplyDeletethat is a darling and dapper little one...thank you dear Karen
ReplyDeleteI am off to check out your link :)

I like this photo:), very nice:)
ReplyDeleteHi! I just discovered your site and I LOVE it! I've been intrigued by clip art and fonts since long before I knew what they were and your site has become my daily "fix"! The little girl is dressed in a riding costume; a derby hat is one of the corrct types of headgear for a the properly attired rider.

I am unable to comment on the visa card give away:( I don't like using FB etc for this, I am not sure why I see no comments there nor am I able to comment. Thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI love these vintage photos of children. I have a collection of them. So cute. And such an inspiration to create more fun items.
ReplyDeleteThe bowler is what people wore back in the day to ride in so it is almost certainly a riding kit. I think s/he's adorable.
