Swoon!!! This one is my new favorite! This amazingly beautiful print comes from an 1870's Natural History book! I spent a ridiculous amount of money on this book just to get this image and then I spent a ridiculous amount of time... hours and hours, playing with this one today, to give you guys numerous options. Really, I just couldn't stop myself! Anyway, this is a fantastic image of a beautiful Bird inside of a Glass Cloche, with Garlands of Roses and Vines Swagging along the bottom. So many glorious details!! I've included an Instant Art Printable of the original Sepia Toned image. A black and white version, a full color version, and 3 single colored versions, that look a bit like Toile I think. I hope you will enjoy them!

This is BEAUTIFUL Karen, I LOVE it!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to give us all these different options! Gorgeous! x
ReplyDeleteOh Karen,

ReplyDeleteKaren, this is just one beauty to behold! You did a phenomenal job of coloring the original sepia one. Your kindness/generosity to do this without any other remuneration but a thanks from your readers is just unbelievable. I now call your Graphics Angel instead of Graphics fairy :) Thanks so much!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this one- especially the original sepia version. It reminds me of my Grandmother's Victorian vases under cloches but the bird image is even better than the flowers on those.
ReplyDeleteWow this is so beautiful. Thanks so much for your time and giving this amazing image!
ReplyDeleteSWOON, indeed!!!!! Oh my goodness...they're all beautiful but I am absolutely in love with the full colored version & I must start thinking of a way to showcase it! Thank You soooooooooo much!!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeletejust beautiful, and thank you for sharing...
ReplyDeleteThat's a melancholy image, if you think about it... these Victorian people had a bird and loved him so much that when he died they stuffed him and put him under glass. "Our Pet." Aw.
ReplyDeleteYour full color version is masterful. I've tried a bit of this, and even though I'm a novice, I can appreciate the enormous amount of attention you lavished on this print. Thank you so much for this luxurious version of a fabulous image.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love this...now I am trying to decide how I am using it...I am thinking on an end table? Wall art?
ReplyDeleteKaren, you are a superstar!!! Thank you so much for all you do to bring such beautiful things into our lives!
ReplyDeleteThese are GORGEOUS, Karen! Thanks so much for sharing!
