I'm calling this Gorgeous Chicken a Rooster, but if I'm wrong, be sure and let me know! Anyway, such a gorgeous bird! This one comes from an Antique Book. I've created an Instant Art Print so that you can print this out and frame it right up!
Yep, he's a rooster. You can tell by the long tail feather. They usually have a larger comb (red thing on their head) but that can vary breed to breed).
Really nice picture of a Rooster! I'm going to print it out for a friend of mine who has a really fowl kitchen. :)Christmas is coming up and I'm always on the lookout for chicken items for her.
Rita May, You were right! I uploaded the Jpeg by mistake! I've just corrected it and now when you click you will get the large image. Thanks for pointing it out, sometimes at the end of the day my brain is tired and then mistakes happen!
Thank you so much for leaving a comment on my blog! Although, I am not able to respond to all of the comments left here, please know that they are always appreciated!! Karen P.S. A note to SPAMMERS - Your comments will be deleted, you are wasting your own valuable time and mine.

ReplyDeleteThanks! Great looking rooster. What size is he? It's printing up very small at my end. Is that right?
ReplyDeleteRita May,
ReplyDeleteDid you click on the word "Here" (Just under the Rooster) and print the PDF? The PDF is around 10" long.
