Here's one for the "Odd" Category, but maybe you can tie it in to a Halloween project! This is an icky looking Fly Trap from an 1890's Hardware Store catalog. Yucky but kind of cool too!
I actually had one of these about 15-20 years ago. You had to put a really smelly attractant in it and when the flies got in there and died the smell got even worse - And YES, it was very icky!!
