Here's a nice one!! This one is from an Antique Children's Encyclopedia, I think it's a Crow. Either way, he's a nice one for your Halloween projects! Is it too early to post Halloween images do you think?
Update: I've been told he's a Grackle or a Blackbird. Thanks for your input everyone!

It is so to early for halloween posts! Summer can NOT be over already!!!! 0_o
ReplyDeleteOh Karen, I LOVE this!!! Thanks so very much!! (And...uhhh....duhhh...NEVER to early for Halloween, Silly!) Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
ReplyDeleteGreat crow, Karen! The black is so rich looking. This will make for a great Halloween project!
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen.love this one. It's never too early for holiday goodies, especially for those of us who create things to sell!
ReplyDeleteThanks & Hugs
He's gorgeous! Thanks, Karen!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you guys like him! I figured some of you guys were probably working on your Fall crafts already!
ReplyDeleteJoy, Maybe you can just think of him as a Summer Crow!! ;)
It's never too late/early for Halloween talk!
ReplyDeleteI love your free graphics - this site is awesome! The biologist in me who spent 4 years identifying bird submissions for West Nile virus for rapid testing feels compelled to point out that with green eyes and a light bill and a lack of a nasal tuft this bird is undoubtedly a grackle... not a crow. It's still awesome though!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous and it's a blackbird. They have a lovely song which I miss very much here in the South. It needs an English garden with topiary and roses and a nice pot of tea *sighs happily*
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful crow, thank you so much for posting! :))
ReplyDeleteKaren, this is great:).... thanks very much!...

He is just so much fun, thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteThis is one very beautiful crow, Madam! Also, please don't shoo the summer away so fast :( It's so short, let us enjoy it! :D Keep up the good work!

i'd say it's a blackbird as well, not a crow or raven. but it's gorgeous nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteErrrrmmmm....it's NEVER too early (or late as it were) for Halloween images! :) I work on Halloween goodies year round-it's my favorite holiday. Thank you so much for posting this awesome Blackbird. xo

ReplyDeleteNever too early for Halloween! Thanks for all the great, free graphics.
ReplyDeleteI've spent the last couple of weeks surrounded by Halloween colors as I work on a King size quilt...if I didn't start now it would never be finished in time! I'm going to use this bird to make a quilt label! Thanks....
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Love this crow, thank you
