Karen, she's marvelous! I love these vintage photos - they are characters telling stories. As a dramatist I love to imagine just what that story might be. Perhaps our lovely little gypsy girl will take the lead in a new story . . . hmmm . . . thanks for the inspiration! Joy! Miss Kathy
Oooh! This one will definitely find its way into a collage. I've been interested in the history of the Roma people lately, so this was right on target! Thanks!
My sister stumbled across a calender someone used this image for, and emailed it to me. We were AMAZED that this woman is the spitting image of myself. I showed some friends, and everyone agrees and it very shocked by it. I even used to wear my hair like this. If I didn't know any better, I would say my face had been superimposed on the body. I have been stunned by it and couldn't get it out of my head for days, until I finally contacted the creator of the calendar and they directed me here. Of course I still have no idea why we look the same, it is probably a freak occurrence but it is fun to see. It is such a beautiful photo, and seeing it has really opened my eyes. I am so happy to have it, it brings very warm feelings to my heart for some strange reason...
