What a beautiful looking Vintage Apothecary Label this is! This was some sort of Medicine, it sounds like it may have been for an Alka Seltzer type of thing. I think the typography is particularly lovely on this! The original version is at the top, I also made you a black and white version and another version with just the frame.

Karen, I've been a fan of yours for a while. I've enjoyed seeing your images and the wonderful things people create with them. Thank you for your generosity in sharing them with the world. I realized how grateful I was yet had failed to express this. So this is my thank you.
ReplyDeleteI especially appreciate three things you offer over other image sites. 1) The high quality of your scans means I can use them to create even better things. 2) The variety of subjects you share. 3) That you give just a little information on the image's source which is interesting. Again I thank you for your generosity and quality.
Karen...I agree with Lisa. You always have the most amazing images. Thank you for taking the time to share them with all of us. I don't think we tell folks that we appreciated the things they do....so with the being said...
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU!!!!!!!

Lisa said it all. We don't take the time to show appreciation. thank you thank you thank you
ReplyDeleteI can finally do your graphics justice. I bought an HP laserjet printer at local Staples store for just over a $100. Best thing I ever bought considering I start every day with your graphics.
Now I can get to work and create beautifully.
I'm so glad I stumbled upon your site. Your graphics are just wonderful. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this beautiful piece! If you caught my last comment on Request Day a month or so back, I found out my graphics program is awful... So my mom resized the miel/honey label for me and it is wonderful as well. Thanks for all you do!
ReplyDeleteOh Karen, this one makes my odd vintage heart jump! :)) Thank you so much...again and again! :)
ReplyDeleteHi B,
ReplyDeleteOh, that's great! I've never had a laserjet, but at that price it's awfully tempting!!
Liz,
I'm so glad the Honey Label worked out for you after all!!
Hi, this is fun! Especially since I used to live in Montclair, NJ. I've also lived in upstate New York, which a few of your other ads were from, as well. Maybe I should do a scrapbook page with labels from all the places I've lived. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, it is so generous of you to share the graphics. I have a question for you, when I try to save the graphics above, they come up as bitmap vs. jpg. I find bitmap doesn't save as any image. Can you help me understand this situation? thanks so much, Kathy
ReplyDeleteKaren, thank you very much for everything :) Your blog and pictures are so incredible.Kind regards
ReplyDeleteKaren, I can't tell you how many times I have downloaded images from you over the years, but I have never officially thanked you for all you do! Your dedication to the community of images is outstanding! I am adding your button to my blog and will advertise you forever!
ReplyDeleteWarm hugs!
