Here's what I found for you this Month:

Dawn requested a Sea Hag. which she defined as an ugly Mermaid. I've been wanting to share this one for a long time, but I thought she was too ugly, so I never have. I'm glad someone has a use for it!

Saraccino asked for this particular Octopus, that came from a French Dictionary page. It took a bit of time to extract him from the rest of the page, but I think it was well worth it, he is a great looking Octopus!

Kelsey was wishing for a Yarn Ball. This little drawn version came from a vintage knitting guide.

As a bonus I've also included the little Bow Girl by herself. She would make a great Digi-Stamp!Well, that's all for this month. Do you have a request for an image? If so please leave it here in the comments section of my Request Day post, and then check back on Thursday July 7th to see if I found your requested image (Sorry but I can't fill every request, I usually pick a few each time). I'm afraid I'm a very disorganized Fairy, so please, please please Do Not email requests to me, I most likely will loose it if you do. So sorry but I'm a complete mess when it comes to email! I'm afraid they're just aren't enough hours in the day to answer them all, and then I feel horribly guilty.
P.S. Don't forget to use the search box here on my blog, you might find that the image you want is already here!

My request is musical instruments! Trumpets, trombones, drums, anything you'd find in a marching band.
ReplyDeletei would love some more of the silhouettes that you post. LOVE THOSE and the old labels. Some labels for potions for Halloween would be great.
ReplyDeleteThanks
request : some young women just as in those old ads :D you know ... smiling and having fun looking at the photographer!
ReplyDeleteYou always have to cutest finds! I just love whatever you post. It makes me smile, and inspires me. I have a little project for the girls and need a digi stamp. Can't wait to use her.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kat - love old labels...the more the better! I'm also searching for a good old "cranky" crow image....It would seem there has to be one here on your site somewhere, but I can't seem to find it (then again, I get distracted looking - searched birds and found the cool nest with eggs and had to come up with ideas for that - then went to Halloween and found those awesome projects for matchboxes and embroidery hoops....and pretty soon I forget what it was I was looking for!!) Smiles ~ Robin
ReplyDeleteHey Karen
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your hard work! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE any images pertaining to the kitchen - specifically word labels or maybe advertisement for pantry items - flour, white sugar, brown sugar, white rice etc. I am working on a project making canisters for all my dry goods...
I would like to request any vintage surfboard or surf shop ads or cool stuff like that. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the yarn ball! :)
ReplyDeleteI wold like some Horses
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
Everything sure looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteMy request would be an old fashioned train engine with cars and a caboose. I want to be able to write on each of the cars. Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteLove the little girl digi, thankyou!!
ReplyDeleteKaren , you are amazing. I love vintage perfume bottles and would love to see more commercial bottles from either labels ir from advertising. There was just an international perfume bottle association xonvention and auction in Chicago and one bottle alone sold for $37,000 !!! Yes, one bottle. It was Lancome from the 50's and rare because it was created for a charity gala gift bag. Anyway, there is just a huge demand for vintage perfume "stuff" thx ! Jeanine http://icoulduseadeal.com/
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the sea hag and the octopus!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, two requests please. One is for some old chemist's poison labels, and the other is a bit strange, I don't know if it is "do-able" but you do such clever things with colour. A little while ago you posted a red rose botanical and I was wondering if you could make it half white so it could be used in an Alice in Wonderland project?
ReplyDeleteThank you for the Sea Hag! She's definitely ugly for a mermaid but I love her! I will send a picture of my project when it is completed. Thank you again!
ReplyDeleteDawn
My request is for vintage writing elements: old pens, inkwells, etc. Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteI would also like the chemist poison lable (not the skull and cross bones type) or other drug store related bottle lables!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for the additional connect the dots - one cunning Xmas plan under way in the UK!
ReplyDeleteI am REALLY drawn to the Sea Hag...something about her!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks once again!

Hi, my request is some ships. I'm talking grand ships like ones with masts or pirates etc. Also I know that Mermaids are hard to fine but is there any chance that you could post any? Even if they're like missing bits or damaged.
ReplyDeleteAlso, keep up the great work! I love checking Graphic Fairy every day for new images.
Thanks so much, A.
When I saw the title of this post, I automatically thought of those old dot-to-dots that had big holes and you ran yarn in and out through the holes. I remember doing those with my grandma when i was very little, lol.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry, I left the previous post about the dot-to-dot with yarn. I didn't realize it was going to be anonymous. I don't care for people to leave anon. posts and feel I shouldn't either. Luvs
ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of your site. You are so generous and so many of us come here and grab images and forget to say thanks more often than we do. So, thank you, thank you, thank you!I would love to see what the person did with the Sea Hag image. Yep, it's ugly but I wonder what the requester is up to with this one :) Pls share if you get to know.
ReplyDeleteI would really love some vintage ships.. cutter ships to be specific. And other vintage nautical themed items would be great too. Thanks so much!

ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and love it. Thank you for doing this!!! My request is Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum from Alice in Wonderland. I have not been able to find a digi stamp of them anywhere.
ReplyDeleteANYTHING CIRCUS! But in particular I would love vintage elephants, giraffes and monkeys.
ReplyDeleteMy son is turning 2 and I am throwing him a "vintage circus" party on July 12th. This would be perfect timing! Thanks so much in advance!
I feel like my request might be a little farfetched, but my request is for something TEXAS! I have the Amarillo Business School Owl that you've posted before, but I'd adore something like a Texas map, postcard, etc. I'd go nuts crafting with Texas graphics! Thanks for being awesome and providing the best vintage graphics! :)

Hi Karen, I love all the great graphics you post and check your blog everyday! A few months ago you posted an instant art print of squirrels that was wonderful. I was wondering if you had something similar with chipmunks. (Or anything with chipmunks for that matter!) Thanks so much. Kate
ReplyDeleteIf you had a Ferris wheel, that would be fantastic!
ReplyDeleteDo you have an IRIS flower?
ReplyDeleteBlue, or purple, or even in black and white!
