Vintage Typography - Cafe and Wine List

Here are a few more wonderful Typography images from my old 1915 Type book! This time I'm offering 2 Cafe Headings and a Wine List heading. These were most likely used on restaurant menus. I think you could find a lot of uses for these, they would be great for transfer projects, like towels and such, they would be really cute on signs, or plaques in a kitchen, or you could make some fun menus for a party! If you like these, you might also like the Menu fonts that I posted HERE.

  4. We all have grubby minds! Yes, very naughty champagne cork...

Might make a naughty-but-nice design for a wedding anniversary or a saucy valentine. Why not have a giggle with it?

The Cafe signs are cute, too. I considering doing the Mod Podge transfer ( tutorials here: http://www.modpodgerocksblog.com/2009/10/how-to-transfer-inkjet-images-to-wood.html ) onto a chalkboard for the kitchen, to answer the eternal 'What's for Dinner?' question.

  11. LOL! I am cracking up because I actually emailed the cork image to my dirty-minded co-workers yesterday and we had a good round of bawdiness over it. "Naughty" cork indeed!

It'll be a good one for Bachelorette parties!

    :-)
