This is a very pretty advertising trade card that shows a sweet bird, a Lark, with it's nest! I believe the pink flowers surrounding the nest, are Rhododendrons. The card was made to advertise thread, and is the mate to a similar card found HERE.

ReplyDeleteOh, this is gorgeous! I love the balance between the blue, pink, and brown. (And I don't think it's rhododendron--the blossoms are too small for it, if the rhody in my yard is an accurate yardstick. Otherwise the bird would be as big as my cat. I'm thinking maybe a flowering fruit tree, like cherry or apple?)
