Thursday is Request Day - Golden Goddess, Door, Phoenix, Chickens

Once again, it's Thursday so that means it's request day here at TGF!

Also, I have an announcement, going forward I'm going to be doing Request Day once each month, instead of every week. It will be the first week each month, so the next Request Day will be on June 2nd. I love doing the requests, but they are extremely time consuming, so I need to pare them down a bit!

Here's what I found for you this time:

Several readers
told me that they would love to see more of the prints from the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam book, this one shows a beautiful Golden Goddess, flying in the sky!

Wonderfully Domestic requested some Door images. This one has a great classic look to it!

Claudia
asked for a Phoenix. I'm really not sure if this is a Phoenix or not, the tail doesn't seem quite right to me, but hopefully she'll know.

I also found this one. Hopefully one of these is a Phoenix, it's all I've got!

And lastly A. asked for some Chicken graphics. I'm quite sure that these are in fact Chickens!!!

Well, that's all for this week. Do you have a request for an image? If so please leave it here in the comments section of my Request Day post, and then check back on Thursday June 2nd to see if I found your requested image (Sorry but I can't fill every request, I usually pick a few each time). I'm afraid I'm a very disorganized Fairy, so please, please please Do Not email requests to me, I most likely will loose it if you do. So sorry but I'm a complete mess when it comes to email! I'm afraid they're just aren't enough hours in the day to answer them all, and then I feel horribly guilty.

P.S. Don't forget to use the search box here on my blog, you might find that the image you want is already here!

  12. Thanks for all your work. Love all the images. I'm looking for an image of a Merchurachrome bottle. Grandma used it on Mom and Mom used it on our skinned knees. Turns out it's mercury. Would make a great card for my mom.

  19. I absolutely LOVE your site(s). I would like to make a request for high-resolution round (non-cold cream) apothecary (or honey) labels. I loved the burnt orange one you have but unfortunately (believe it or not) it's too digitized when I print it out. Just so you have an idea, here's how I use them:
    http://www.etsy.com/listing/72569147/round-pill-box-with-vintage-prescription
This was a high-res scan of the actual vintage label...
Regardless, thank you for everything you do.

  20. These images are great! Quite the variety....

I would like to make a request for a "Sea Hag" or "Storm Hag" which I guess is a cross between a mermaid and a witch. So... any type of mermaid that is not so pretty or a graphic of a hag. I know this is a big request, but I know you can do it!
Thank you for all the great graphics!

  27. I forgot to thank you for the image of the Chickens the day you posted it. I have a friend who has a really fowl room in her home...that is to say, she has a chicken motif going throughout her kitchen and I'm always on the lookout for images of poultry. These are GORGEOUS and would be perfect framed and hung on her wall.

I haven't given her her birthday present yet (her birthday was on May 6th) so I will have one more thing to give her for her special day.

    Thank you once again! :D

  34. Dear Karen, thanks so much for your wonderful, inspiring site. I have been looking for some graphics of crazy ladies! Old-fashioned ladies misbehaving, looking crazy, doing crazy things, posing melodramatically. There was a time when I could find quite a few of these, but I can't seem to anymore, and I really need them for a special project.
Thanks in advance for your help.
