This is another fabulous label from the 1880's Pharmacy label catalog that I received recently! This one shows a Horse image, and was used for a product called "Sinclair's Condition Powders". The original is the creamy sepia toned one at the top, I've also made a black and white version.

Thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the labels!

Big thanks for the great scans. I've already incorporated a couple of 'em into my new kids' website. Case in point http://knockville.com/comic/972ee13153
ReplyDeleteBeen scanning the Dover books, but you don't seem to have much overlap with them. Again, thanks!
This label is great, I love horses too! I am thinking the frame will work smashingly on one of my poems! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love horses and love vintage! Bless you for giving this away! Blessings! Laura

ReplyDeleteFirstly, I love your site. You always find the coolest vintage stuff to post on here :)
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you could tell me your source for this image? My grandmother's family name is Sinclair, and she used to have a horse farm. It would be fun to try to trace this back and see if it's actually a real product! Thanks!
