I've been on such a spending spree lately, new (or actually old!) and fabulous things have been showing up in my mailbox each day! Today I received this truly amazing
rare 1880's Pharmacy label book! The book is filled with
hundreds of antique Pharmacy and Apothecary labels. Amazing!! This particular label is very ornate, with a
gorgeous fancy frame. This one is for
Rose Hair Oil. The
original is at the top and the other two I made just for fun. These would be cute to
decoupage or Mod Podge onto old bottles, or fun for a
DIY project for your bathroom.
very cool post . karen - happy international women,s day

ReplyDeleteKaren, Please NOTE: I tried to download this clip art and my security software immediately kicked in!!
ReplyDeleteI received numerous "Warnings" that the site and the download were tainted with multiple "VIRUS" . Norton software removed all the clip art from my computer.
I hope you see this message.
Hi Angie,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info, I'm not sure what's up with that! I just tested these multiple times, with both firefox and explorer and I'm not getting anything like that on my computer. I'm thinking it's another one of those fake warnings again, if you see a warning, make sure you "x" out of it. Don't follow the directions that it tells you in order to remove it. There is a stupid antispyware company that uses a technique where they try to mimic your virus protection, in order to get you to click on it. So don't click on it! Just x out and then use your antivirus software as you normally would. It wants you to click on it so that you will install the spyware and then it will try to sell you some antispyware in order to remove it. They make lots of money this way scaring people, I'm sure. You can't get a virus from my images, or any other images stored on Picasa on Blogger blogs. This company makes their money by tricking people into thinking there is a virus on the site, when in fact there is not. This is a safe site. I'm so sorry you had to experience that! I'm going to contact my ad network and see if they can track it down and get rid of it.
Hi Karen, i've been on your site lots and several times have had those warnings come up. Hubby showed me how to check our real virus protection and it confirmed that it was clean and contained no viruses, and shut it down with the X. Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteHi Rockmelon,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your input! Yes, you handled it correctly! In the meantime, I've had the ad network, where these ads were sneaking in, removed from my blog. They are doing an investigation, in order to figure out where it's coming from, but until they figure it out, there's no way I want to take any chances!
Karen, this is great - thanks very much!
ReplyDeleteThese and all your images are fantastic! I've used them many times and love each one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for offering them!
lovely, just lovely!
