I know I have a lot of sewing people, quilters, embroiderers etc on here, so I'm always on the look out for some fun stuff for you guys! This is a super cute antique label for Sewing Machine oil! Perhaps you could adhere this to a jar or canister, and keep some sewing supplies inside of it. I hope you like it!
In other news: I've added a new version of my Roses Rustic background to my other blog, this one has soft muted tones, in pale pink and a blueish gray. You can find it HERE.

You create some of the most beautiful graphics, you are so talented. Thank you for creating and so freely sharing all of it with us!

ReplyDeleteOh, too funny! Thomasville, GA is one of those classic, beautiful Old Southern Towns near the border with Florida. Makes me homesick for Georgia as I sit here in snowy Minnesota. Thanks for the image!
ReplyDeleteOh! Love this one! Will definitely be finding a spot for it on a future scrapbook page. Thank you, again, for all the beautiful images you share!

ReplyDeleteQUESTION.... How can I place text in a frame you supplied?
I have tried to copy into WORD, etc and then type, but it still won't work. Thank you for any help you can give me.
Thanks Marilyn Gray

I hope you like the final result
thanks for all your work!!!
Hi Karen, I just found you site and first of all let me say a big thank you for sharing your graphics. The sewing machine oil caught my eye..I was born and grew up about 20 miles from Thomasville GA..so I decided to research it. I came up with an archive page that did show SR Pyles in Thomasville Ga in 1870's as a druggist..was a very interesting article..here's the link. I have always thought..if there was a story behind some the vintage labels. http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/GAGLYNN/2003-12/1071796689
