Here's a fun antique (circa 1870's) Bay Rum Label!! I just loved the shield shape of the frame around this! I removed the writing, so that you can make your own labels with this. I think it would make a great little blog button too!
McKeown is the last name of the man I am engaged to. Such a rare name to come by and unbelievable that I came across and advertisement that you listed. Thank you.
Thank you so much for leaving a comment on my blog! Although, I am not able to respond to all of the comments left here, please know that they are always appreciated!! Karen P.S. A note to SPAMMERS - Your comments will be deleted, you are wasting your own valuable time and mine.
I think it would make a nice Sheriff's badge! :-)
ReplyDeleteBay Rum is a very vintage men's toilet water/aftershave made from the West Indian Bay tree, Pimenta racemosa -- and Jamaican rum, too!
ReplyDeleteAnother thank you,Karen...my beloved Papa used Bay Rum. It has been "in my head and heart" since I was a child. Memories...a gift.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know that Bay Rum is something that you wear, and not drink! I had no idea!!
