These are some interesting objects from an early children's geography book circa 1885. I've included the stained original image at the bottom and I've cleaned up the individual objects for you as well. Included are a wonderful Globe, an interesting engraving of the Earth with clouds swirling around it, and a map of the world. These are great for your steampunk collage projects!!

ReplyDeletefantastic post xoxo karen
ReplyDeleteThank you again for your generous sharing! You not only provide the images (in 3 sizes no less), but you show how they may be altered. Much of my playing around with an image editor has been inspired by your great reworking of originals.
ReplyDeleteAnd you are the only site (I know of) that labels your images so that we can identify their online origin, and do a search of our own saved files, by name, to find them easily. This careful step also allows us to notify you should we want to use an image.
My visual world would be a lot smaller without you in it.
With grateful appreciation,
Marcie
