ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Karen! I have been wanting some butterfly images for a project I started on awhile back and never finished. This will be perfect!
ReplyDeleteI will use these a lot, thank you!
ReplyDeleteThese are GORGEOUS!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much,Karen!
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs,
Marie
Thank you Karen, these are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteoh wow - these are beauties - thanks!
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely, thank you so much for the butterflies!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much - another wonderful instant printable art graphic. I must be doing something wrong though. When I click twice I get the same size file as when I click once. I've noticed this before on other graphics. The maximum size I get when I right click and save as (after clicking twice for the largest size) is 1113 x 1600 pixels. How do I get the large size file?
ReplyDeleteEkorn,
ReplyDeleteClick on it once and wait for it to pop up in a new window, then click a second time (you should see a little plus sign on your curser) and then it will expand. I hope this helps!
OOOOO Beautiful. Thank you Karen.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your reply, Karen. I followed your directions (which are the same steps I originally used) but while the image is magnified on the screen (after clicking on the magnifying glass with the plus sign) the file size when I right click and save as remains the same at 1113 x 1600 pixels and 237 kb.
ReplyDeleteHi Ekorn,
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, you're right!! I just saved it to my computer, and the size and the resolution are much lower than the original! Blogger must be shrinking the image down when I upload it. Arrgh! Bummer!! I will have to rack my brain and see if I can think of an alternative. Thanks so much for pointing this out, I never would have figured it out, if you wouldn't have said something.
Ekorn,
ReplyDeleteI think I've found a solution! I've added a clickable link for a PDF file. I printed it out and it looks beautiful! I will gradually work on changing over the other Instant Art images as well, I'll make sure and do the Squirrels next, hopefully tomorrow I'll get to them.
Thanks again for alerting me to this.
Thank you, Karen. The pdf is an excellent solution. I've always been a stickler for using 300 dpi graphics for my printing and the larger file sizes will make the images much more versatile for everyone. And such awesome graphics they are!!
ReplyDeleteI am loving these! Thanks so much, I'll be spreading the word.
ReplyDeleteI used this in some jewellery - http://rosesandhellojewellery.blogspot.com/2010/10/roaring-twenties.html
ReplyDeleteThanks!
What an exciting experience!/Hilarious! Delightful! True!/wonderful stuff! thank you!

A few of these butterflies might just look like the real thing if one were to cut them out and put in a small shadow box with the wings curled up from the page.
ReplyDeleteSincerely
Marie
Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI'll print them and try to make something beautiful for the children's room.
I like your blog! and I'll definetly return.
