Once again, it's Thursday so that means it's request day here at TGF!
Here's what I found for you this week:
At the top of the page is a lovely Moose, from an old dictionary. This one was requested by an anonymous reader.
Else requested a Griffin. This one is actually quite a tiny image, I hope you can still use it Else!
And a while back, Alden had requested a Pinecone. This one is a lovely engraving from an old book.Well, that's all for this week. Do you have a request for an image? If so please leave it here in the comments section of my Request Day post, and then check back on Thursday to see if I found your requested image (Sorry but I can't fill every request, I usually pick a few each week). Each week I go back and check under my Thursday posts to find what your looking for, it's so much easier for me that way. I'm afraid I'm a very disorganized Fairy, so please, please please Do Not email requests to me, I most likely will loose it if you do. So sorry but I'm a complete mess when it comes to email! I'm afraid they're just aren't enough hours in the day to answer them all, and then I feel horribly guilty.
P.S. Don't forget to use the search box here on my blog, you might find that the image you want is already here!

ReplyDeletethank you so much for this blog! i love it! i have a request for next thursday...a clawfoot bathtub? or a pitcher/basin? trying to make a bathroom picture trio.
ReplyDeletei made a trio from the sewing machines and dress form for my mom's sewing room and it turned out great!!
Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful images. Your site is such a fantasic resource of graphics and ideas. I especially love the natural images like the moose, owl, and cone in this post. Would you happen to have a squirrel? Preferably an North American squirrel without the ear tufts. I am obsessed with squirrels and any picture of one would do, really.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your generosity and effort!
I love this blog. Thank you so much for all your images.
ReplyDeleteOne small note. That's a sphinx, not a griffin. A griffin has an eagle's head and talons, where as a sphinx can have either the head of a lion or a woman, with the wings of an eagle.
Magnificent moose, Karen! My son's nickname is "moose". I'm already thinking of a way of using this great image. Thanks! Hugs, Terri xoxo
ReplyDeleteFantastic new images! Thanks
ReplyDeleteGreat pine cone! Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteyou have no idea how much this moose means to me! my daughter thinks moose are the most creepiest animals in the world - and the entire family torments her over it. this moose image is destined for great things...like being transferred to pillowcases for her new apartment...i can't wait! thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteGee,you come up with some great ones!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your requests! I'll be going through my collections to try to find as many as possible!!

ReplyDeleteI'm leaving in Canada but I'm originally from France, when I was living there, I had several shops available, even in my small town, to find those vintage images and I miss that so much! Your blog compensate the loss :)
Would you have an aubergine/eggplant picture available? For my gardener of husband who is obsessed with this vegetable :
Estou encantada!Tudo postado por voce, mesmo não sendo o que preciso no momento,já me da ideias para proximos projetos.obrigado!
ReplyDeleteMe encantei com tudo e estou com mil ideias novas agora!Obrigado por sua preciosa ajuda!
