I'm always on the look for beautiful Gypsy images and this one is the prettiest one, that I have found so far! I just love her beautiful face and long lovely hair. I've included the back as well, I thought the handwriting was fun!
Wow Karen...she is a Gypsy Woman...I'm hearing that song in my head now...ya know EVIL WOMAN? Thanks for all your generosity...it is much appreciated. Have a great evening, Roberta
Oh, she is indeed, lovely!! I too love old gypsy images ... they call to my soul... Thank you, for all of the wonderful pictures, Karen! You are most generous! :))
Hi, I love your site ! I’m French woman and I tried to translate this postcard for you (sorry for my poor English…) “Dear Zabeth, Two words hastily, it’s 4:30 pm and I leave at 7:58 pm and my moving boxes are not done yet. I hurry. Yesterday I received your letters of the 8th and the 9th. Try to be very kind and not to be of a bad disposition because Daddy would not be pleased. I send you Pierre’s card. He left yesterday evening. I don’t know if he will not come the next month. Meanwhile to see you, receive from everybody the best kisses without forgetting a caress of Nenette. The small birds are at Mr Guignabert’s house. Roger and Marcelle leave on Thursday for Saint Malo at cousin’s house. Good kisses, Mommy”
Hello--I just noticed that not so long ago, you already posted pictures of bees and a hive. If you have additional pictures of bees and hives, I'd b tickled, but I feel grateful to have found what you have already shared! Best, Char
