Spencerian Saturday - Pen Flourished Bird on Branch

It's time for yet another graphic in my weekly series "Spencerian Saturday"!!! Every Saturday I add another gorgeous image from an early calligraphy book.




The original scanned version of this sweet Pen Flourished bird on a Branch , is seen just above. At the very top of the page, is a version that I made in aqua.

This one is a cleaned up version of the original. I think this would be a great one for a wedding, you could personalize the banner/ribbon that's tucked just under the bird. It would be cute to use for DIY placecards!




In other news: I forgot to mention yesterday that I added the 3 column version of the Pink Roses on Robin's Egg Blue background to my to my other blog at Backgroundfairy.com.
