This graphic just cracks me up!! A funny little Bunny delivering eggs in a wagon pulled by a Hen! How cute is that?!!Now a word of caution on this graphic, I would suggest using this one for personal use only. This is from a book that was published in 1937. U.S. copyright law states that if a book, published in this year, did not have it's copyright renewed prior to 1963, it falls in the public domain. I have researched this and have not found a renewed version, prior to 1963, so I feel pretty good about it. But I'm not 100% sure. So it's best not to use this for projects that you will sell.
P.S. I'm working on a blog page that will explain public domain in more detail so, watch for that, it should be done soon!
XXXOOO

Your right, it is adorable. It would look great as a hand colored invitation.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the work you do in making these available and for checking copywrites.

Very cute! And thank you, Karen, for explaining public domain and the legal ramifications. Hugs, Terri xoxo
ReplyDeleteKaren you are such a sweetie. this is adorable and I really really really appreciate the heads up on the copyright. How professional of you! I can't wait to read your page about public domain, it will be so helpful
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting this image. I need a laugh today and this did it.
ReplyDeleteTo cute. Thanks a bunch. Carol
ReplyDeleteKaren, This is the bomb!!!!!! I love-love-love it. Just got to use this on something for my young'un...Gerry

Man, this Easter Bunny's really going the distance. But it doesn't seem fair that the layer-of-the-eggs has to pull the cart, as well! (Sort of like Ginger Rogers dancing the same as Fred Astaire, only backwards and in high heels, and not getting credit where credit's due. LOL!)
ReplyDeleteOh, I just LOVE this one!!! Thank you for a fantastic image!
ReplyDeleteThank you Karen..for all the sweet images and for all the work you do. I am so looking forward to the copyright post..that issue is about as clear as mud to me. I've spoken to a para legal and then to an attorney, and they were also too vague. I have some older patterns that were loose in a box..and it was a huge box, filled with patterns.A clear explanation would be so helpful.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you guys like as much as I do, the whole book is just adorable!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that the copyright info will be useful to a lot of you too.
How funny! I love this bunny!
