It's time for yet another next graphic in my weekly series "Spencerian Saturday"!!! Every Saturday I add another gorgeous image from an early calligraphy book.
The original scanned version of this wonderful pen flourished Feather Pen, is seen just above, and at the very top of the page, is a version I made just for fun, in pink.
This one is a cleaned up version of the original. This would be so wonderful to use for the cover of a guest book for a Wedding!
In other news I've just added a new Free Blog Banner to my other site at Backgroundfairy.com, stop on over so you can grab the full sized version for your blog!

Hi Karen,
ReplyDeleteI'm always popping in to see what's new at Graphics Fairy but I don't always comment.
Can you imagine getting a comment from me everyday!
Thank you for sharing all your wonderful pieces.
Hugs,
Anna
Oh yes, I could see this on a wedding guest book! I love it for the swirls and curly cues {I like that kind of thing}.
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful! I've taken a Spencerian writing class and these types of flourishes are so difficult to produces.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so light and airy. I like the variances you have done in colors.
Thanks!
