I've had this little advertising piece for many years. I keep it in a frame and every year at Christmas I get it out and use it as part of my Christmas display. I had forgotten how great the back of this piece is, until I took it out to scan it!This is a very old Woolson Spice Co. card, showing a gorgeous colorful Santa with his bag of toys. He's leaning over the moon and looking at an ocean scene below. Such a whimsical piece, notice how Santa is hanging stockings on the Moon! The back of the card is done in Sepia tones and has the words "Christmas Greetings" spelled out in beautiful fancy lettering. A fun one for a Christmas collage!

ReplyDeleteKaren--I love Woolson Spice cards; I have several that I got at a flea market, but they were glued into an old book and removing them for the beautiful advertising on the backside has been difficult.
