This is a really beautiful old postcard! I think this one is Italian. It features 2 gorgeous Angel children. You can see just a bit of the girl angels wing on the right side of the card. I love the soft muted colors in this one and their beautiful faces. A nice one to use for Christmas!XXXOOO

ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! Thanks for sharing. I recognized the image from an art appreciation series we have. It is part of a larger painting titled "Apparition of the Virgin to St. Bernard". The children are part of a larger group of angels surrounding the Blessed Mother. The Wikipedia link is here.
