Here's a free little gizmo for your blogs sidebar! This is a fun little pumpkin countdown button that I made to share. I do have two important bits of info to share about this though so, please read!
1) I cannot take credit for this design. Yes, the pumpkin graphic is mine, and it's one that I posted on this site about 2 years ago. However I got the idea from Sue at Cottage Way of Life who did a similar series of images on her blog last year. Make sure you check out her blog to see her version, which is quite frankly cuter than mine, and the other adorable Halloween projects she has available!
2) I wish I was super computery and could make this button automatically change each day at a set time. Unfortunately I am not, so I have to fake it!! Which means this button gets changed manually by me each day, on my end. (It will change automatically for you so, don't worry about that!) I replace it with the new date when I get up each morning, which means some days it will change later than others (you know like on the weekends, when I'm sleeping in!). So if that doesn't bother you, than this is the button for you. If that would drive you crazy, then you might want to skip it!

It was probably me you're thinking of as the blogger who used your pumpkin image for a Halloween countdown last year at my blog, Cottage Way Of Life. That pumpkin image was super terrific for the countdown to Halloween. In fact, there is a repost of one of the Halloween craft projects I featured last year at the blog right now so you can see how I used your pumpkin image!

I must be an idiot because I cannot figure out how to change the date on this . I have tried various things and nothing works. What am I missing? Or is it so obvious that I am just out of it with the full moon?

No you can't change it yourself, it will automatically change for you each morning to the new count. If you read #2 on my post, I explain how I do this.
