I picked up some wonderful antique art books today! This graphic is from an old art book that has a musical theme. Featured here is a beautiful woman wearing a classic Laurel wreath in her hair, and holding some sheet music, as if she is about to sing. This one makes me think of the holidays, I think this would work well in a Christmas project of some kind.

Hi Karen - I'm a new follower - I've been looking for vintage images to help me illustrate my story blogs at The Writer's Reverie. This particular image of the beautiful singing lady you found in 2008 is amazing - I found her in 2008, too - framed and under glass in a large print. I took her home form an antique shop and she was inspiration to me for a script I was writing at the time for a summer family theatre production I produce. I used her on the set, too. Thanks for your lovely work and making so many old images come to new life in so many new ways! Joy!
