Last week I had a request for Cowgirl images. I don't actually run across a lot of these, maybe because I live on the East Coast, or maybe there just aren't a lot out there. Anyway, I did dig up these two old photos, they are not from my personal collection, but they are public domain images. I hope you like them! Free Thanksgiving Turkey Countdown Button

Here's a free little doodad for your blog sidebar! This is a fun little Thanksgiving countdown button that I made to share. I do have an important bit of info to share about this though so, please read!
Here's the thing, I wish I was super computery and could make this button change each day at the exact same time. Unfortunately I am not, so I have to fake it!! Which means this button gets changed manually by me each day, on my end. (It will change automatically for you so, don't worry you don't have to do a thing once it's on your blog!) I replace it with the new date when I get up each morning, which means some days it will change later than others (you know like on the weekends, when I'm sleeping in!). So if that doesn't bother you, than this is the button for you. If that would drive you crazy, then you might want to skip it!

Brag Monday - Journal Tag & French Sign
Today I'm bragging about 2 participants from last week's Brag Monday party! It was extra tough narrowing it down this time, there were so many really great creations! First I'm bragging about Tina from Sow Sprout Bloom. Tina made this adorable journal tag using the apothecary label found Here and the Crow found Here. How great is that?!! And make sure you pop over and visit her blog, to see the gorgeous card that she made with this as well.
Next I'm bragging about Michelle from Michelle's Cozy Cottage! Michelle made this beautiful French Sign using this image from Here. Simply fabulous! Be sure and stop by her blog, she has some other amazing pieces that coordinate with this.
Now it's your turn! Have you made something from an image here at The Graphics Fairy that you would like to share? Or do you have a favorite image from here that you would like to share on your blog? Don't be shy, we want to see it!! It's time to brag! You might even be featured on a future Brag Monday post. Just add a link below in the McLinky box.
Here are just a few rules:
1)Artwork/creations or graphics displayed must include at least one image from this site. (Pssst - you can link to an old post if you like, so check back in your archives)
2)Add a link to your items specific blog post (in the McLinky gizmo at the bottom of this post) or page, not the main page of your site.
3)Add the "Brag Monday" button to your post. Just cut and paste the code above and add it to your post and the button should appear, or you can use a regular text link if preferred. (This is required and should make things more fun, so that we can all hop around and see every one's creations!) You could also add the button to your sidebar if you like.
4)Test your link and make sure it's working! If your link gets deleted, it's because you missed one of the rules, so just reread them and repost again!
5)Visit as many of the other "Braggers" ;) as you can and leave comments on their blogs. Oh, and have fun!
I'll leave the MckLinky open until Tuesday night so that gives you a little extra time to put something together if you don't already have something to share!

Free Antique Clip Art - Pen Flourishing with Deer

Yippy Skippy! It's time for the next graphic in my latest series "Spencerian Saturday"!!! Every Saturday I add another gorgeous image from an early calligraphy book.
The original scanned version of these amazing engraved deer with Pen Flourishes, is seen just above. At the top of the page is the cleaned up version.
I also made this red version, as I think this one looks sort of Christmasy. It would make a great tag or card! Make sure you click on the images to bring up the largest size. Enjoy!

Free Vintage Clip Art - French Art Book Cover
Today's selection is from the cover of an old art portfolio. This is all done in leather, with gorgeous gold printed lettering, the swirly scrolly border is leather as well and it's all embossed, just gorgeous! I thought the title "Woman in French Art" was wonderful and I think it would make a great starting point for collage work. Make sure you click on the image to bring up the largest size!
Thanks so much to all of you that sent me well wishes! I do feel better today, I think I'm just run down from getting ready for the Christmas open house at my shop Fleurish. The photos are up if you would like to take a peek at them.

Free Antique Clip Art - Beautiful Ballerinas
Here is one of the prettiest ballerina graphics that I have ever seen! This one is not from my personal collection but it is quite old and is in the public domain. I had something else planned for you today, but I'm a bit under the weather today so it will have to wait for another time. I hope you enjoy this one in the meantime!

Free Vintage Clip Art - Flower Fairies - Christmas

Here are 3 cute little Christmas flower fairies from an old, circa 1910, children's book. I actually purchased this book last Summer, from a dark and dusty, hole in the wall, used book store, it ended up on a shelf in my office where I had forgotten about it, until this week. Each fairy is done in red and green colors for Christmas, although the last one is actually Poison Ivy! Still, I think she goes nicely with the Poinsettia girl and the Holly child. These would be fun to use for making Christmas cards. Be sure and click on the images to bring up the largest size .
