Vintage Valentine Clip Art - and a GIVEAWAY

 If you've seen this card before, it's because I'm revisiting it again in honor of today's Giveaway and Guest project! I originally posted this cute Scottish Boy Valentine, several years ago, before I knew anything about Photoshop. This is the new and improved, higher res image of that same Valentine.

 Now for the more exciting part! My dear friend Dinah Corley, from Gourmet Gifts, came up with this fun idea for Valentine's Day, using one of her amazing Recipes!  Notice how she placed a Heart Shaped Cookie over top of the Heart that the Scottish Boy is holding. So cute!! This is one of the many fabulous projects from Dinah's book Gourmet Gifts. You can grab her Scottish Shortbread Cookie Recipe and instructions for the project HERE. And don't worry the "glue" she used is edible and tasty too!  Wouldn't these make a fabulous gift for Valentine's Day?!

And even more exciting news, Dinah has agreed to give away another copy of her book, actually two copies (one will be given away here, and the other on Dinah's site), and she will be autographing them! You may recall when I did a giveaway of this book last year. It's fantastic book filled with amazing recipes and all sorts of wonderful crafty ways that you can package them to give as gifts!

This is a charming Vintage Graphic showing 2 lovely Yellow Canary Birds in a Cage! I like the combination of the Yellow and Blue together. Such a cheerful little card!

Vintage Sewing Clip Art - 3 Thimbles + Info on Transfers

These are 3 cute Vintage Thimble Graphics from an Antique Catalog!  Such beautiful ornate designs on this. The first one is embellished with Fleur de Lis, the second one has pretty Ovals and the third has some ornate Scrolls. These were all made in 14k Gold or Sterling Sliver and were priced between $1-$6. I wish I had a few of these now! Fun for your Sewing Themed Projects.

This is another cute Vintage Circus Graphic! This image is of a lovely Zebra... he looks quite fancy with his satin sash on! He's the second Circus animal in this set, you can find his Elephant Friend HERE.

This is a wonderful image of a Gentleman dressed in an Overcoat with a Top Hat. According to the description in the antique Catalog that this came from, this was a Livery Outfit. So perhaps he was a Carriage driver.
