This is a fun one! Shown above is an Old Photo of a Dancer in a Costume. It appears to be some type of Fiesta costume, perhaps from Mexico? I love the bright colors and the fun pattern on her dress. She's quite daring to show her ankles and calves!!

Royalty Free Images - Old Book Graphics

These Royalty Free Images come from an 1880's Rubber Stamp Catalog, in my collection. Shown above are some marvelous looking Old Book Graphics! The original is at the top with all the fabulous Typography on it, it was used as an Ad for a Grocery Store in Connecticut. I've also included a blank version, so that you can write what you want on it. I think it would make a fun Bookplate or perhaps an invitation to a Book Club!!

Vintage Birthday Image - Charming Cottage

This is a very charming Vintage Birthday Card! The Image above shows the loveliest Cottage Style House! It's such a perfect little Home with it's White Picket Fence and Roses & Hollyhocks! There's even a Trellis Arbor in front of the door. The original version at the top would make a great Birthday Card, or you could use the second version, without the text, for whatever you like! I hope you enjoy this pretty picture!

Vintage Botanical Image - Rhododendron

Last weekend at the Lucketts Spring Market, I picked up some wonderful Antique Gardening books! This lovely Botanical Engraving of a Rhododendron, is from one of those books ... or actually it was more of a Catalog. There was no date in the Catalog but my best guess would be 1880's -1890's, due to the style of writing in the book. This would be really great to color in.. you could use watercolor paints, colored markers or pencils, or great to digitally color as well. I'll be sharing more of the wonderful images from this book soon!
